2008: Honored with his team’s “Mr. Consistency” award … Hit .361 with 42 runs scored, 16 doubles, seven homers and 50 RBI in his first season with the Phoenix … Named Second Team All-SoCon by the media … Chosen as an All-SoCon Tournament honoree after hitting .471 with 10 runs scored, two homers and nine RBI in the four games … Ended the year riding a nine-game hitting streak … Went 3-for-5 with a homer, two runs scored and four RBI in the SoCon title game against College of Charleston … Drove in five runs and scored twice in a 3-for-4 performance at College of Charleston … Scored four runs while going 2-for-2 with a double in his Elon debut against La Salle … Homered twice and drove in four runs in a 7-3 league victory over Appalachian State.
